Reviewing & approving work

The Assist checkpoint: how to review and approve the pull requests the company opens.

At the Assist level the company opens a pull request and pauses for you. This is the checkpoint where you stay in control without doing the work.

How approval works

  • The Quality department — Reviewer, QA, and Security — gates every change before it reaches you.
  • Acceptance tests must pass and gates must be green before anything is marked done.
  • You approve from the work board; the loop then continues to release.
