Introduction
What Avion is, who it's for, and why it's a company rather than a coding assistant.
Avion is the world's first virtual software company — not a coding assistant, but an org chart of specialists that plans, builds, reviews, QAs, ships, and remembers. You set the outcome; the company owns execution.
Who it's for
Teams who are tired of being the glue between Slack, Linear, GitHub, CI, Cursor, and a dozen dashboards. Instead of orchestrating tools yourself, you communicate an outcome and a company of specialists absorbs the coordination.
What you get
- An org chart of six departments and twenty roles — every role a long-term hire with its own identity, responsibilities, memory, and definition of done.
- The autonomous loop: one request moves from outcome to a merged, reviewed, QA'd pull request.
- Layered memory that compounds across people, projects, and time.
- Trust levels you control, per project — from observe-only to fully hands-off.
Work happens on your real repositories and lands as real pull requests, not in a throwaway sandbox. Start with Core concepts to build the mental model, or jump to Getting started to connect your first repo.
